Virgina Beach Parking

I am wondering what the parking is like. My first trip got me a perking ticket so I would ask for help. Last year about this time we could park on this time last year I parked along the shore on the ice avoiding the tickets and fine. Have things improved ? Any help would be appreciated.

if you check out some older threads you will lots of info on this subject. Basically it sucks until you can park on the lake. People may be doing just that this weekend

I live 5 mins from Virginia beach.

First off this past weekend a UTV and a TRUCK went in close to shore. There is a creek that developes when there is a thaw and they found it.

Secondly. You are only permitted to park for 3 hours on any Georgina street. Parking bylaw enforcement only ticket in these areas when there is a complaint. I asked about this when I caught the guy going to chalk my tire.

with the cold weather we are parking on the ice if it keeps with this temp weekend will be no problem lake parking

I'm just going to say what I saw today.

About 20 cars parked on the ice today and even saw a jeep cross over from the island but I only drilled 9 inches today.

I heard the ice road was open. Can anyone confirm this???
