I love pike!! It takes a bit to remove all the bones but once it is done a great tasting fish. We have given filets to friends and family and they always ask for more.

I like pike just as much as any other fish. I fond no big problem with the bones. Pretty much the same as trout or whities with the Y bones. Just have to cut out that section.

A tip an old fellow older them myself years ago said. "If you hang your pike before cleaning them for a couple of minutes most of the slime will drip off." He would hang his pike from a tree branch. Of course they have to be warmed up in winter first for that to happen.
