I've fished it the last three years since they allowed ice fishing. I've caught tons of pike, not too large, biggest 8 pounds also a few walleye up to 7 pounds thought they are closed season, a million perch many of good size but no crappies. I access at Avery point rd. however parking is very limited. Trying today for pike. Also beware of the Muskie I have had a few on but only landed one about 18 pounds nice fight through the ice. Good luck

Had to cut wood in Brechin yeasterday on the lakeshore oh simcoe is coming nice but any way took the back way home so I had looked around the lake it is not good lots of slush and very wet and heavy so I don't think thing or safe, the lake is a warm so we need some mins. weather for about two weeks to get it safe, there or lots of spots where there are slush holes. So if you go be safe. Going out that way tomm. so I will take some pics.
