ice was fine last saturday and with this cold it will be ok,just dont go past the rental huts as who knows if its safe, getting them on the ice is a different story, its a search and destroy mission allways.

I was out at PB this week on Tue - freezin cold, very quiet out there and nothing but lots and lots of dinks - talked to another group and they said the same thing. Not sure what's going on with all these small fish but I'm going to try another location - maybe we have to go deeper or find clear water. They seem to be doing better out of Gilford if you check reports elsewhere...... We need more walleye in the lake to eat these small perch .....

A tough day out there this morning, went out to the last huts (caseys) set up and had fish right away,4 jumbos out of 30 fish, went in for a coffee at caseys and came back to see a few members just setting up,they had a couple of holes drilled and offered me one ,I jumped on the invite and was catching right away, when the bite stopped i was on my way, never found the jumbo perch but had a great 4 hrs.
