Just got back from a midweek stay at Winter Walleye. The weather was -30 everyday with a high pressure system in effect. Needless to say, there was not too many fish caught with these type of conditions. We did manage to bring in enough perch and walleye to eat and bring a few fillets home. Probably had about 10 pike as well. Even lost a pole down the hole... missed that one!
The accommodations were excellent and the host Warner was fantastic. He was always prompt on any of my texts leading up to the trip and during the stay. We didn't arrive until 1am and Warner was in the bungalow waiting for us. The bungalow was warm and the fishing lines already in the water waiting for us. We had plenty of bait and everything you would need to be comfortable, even if you didn't bring anything up. I have been to many different operators and Warner has a very good thing going on. The bungalow was new, well built and well insulated. Warner even took the extra step in having the outhouse heated. Definitely a plus with these temperatures. If you want any further info, pm me.

Bungalow and operator 10 out of 10
