Went down to the boat launch at IBP today, there was a guy walking spudding . I went out and measured almost 5" 20 feet from shore in one of his spud holes. Lots of areas where ice was recently broken apart and refroze about half thickness. I assume less thick further out. I wouldnt go out without a floater suit, not yet, but its almost there.

I was there tis morning and fished in 85 fow on a good 5 inches of ice. It's not to consistant out there as some spots had 3 inches. Lost one fish, only got it up 20 feet and shook off. Really slow bite. I moved around 6 times in different depths.

We walked out from Innisfil beach road yesterday all the way to snake island. Ice was inconsistent at best with lots of areas with 3' to 5' of black ice. Punched at least a dozen holes in depths from 75" to 85" very slow bite. Stay safe out there...
