went to nip this weekend and stayed at ice bungalows. fished from the hut on friday and did poorly. lost one fish. on sat we went due north about 500 meters from the hut on the other side of an island with a large green boathouse. we fished about 150 ft out in about 27 feet of water. did very well limiting out on pics within about 3 hrs. none in the slot size but all just under and nothing above. perch were also biting good as were the cisco. very cold at night. -25 this morning. no problem driving on the lake. 16 to 20 inches of good ice. good luck to those going this week
