St. Croix - Premier Ice Rods, (Any good?)

Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 376 Member No.: 585 Joined: March 19, 2011	Just wondering if any other members use these rods? They are supposed to have a fast tip with some backbone for fighting larger fish. The web site describes the rod but not the number of eyelets. I've heard that there is also a concern with the eyelets not lining up straight(?). Thanks in advance.

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1963 Member No.: 952 Joined: December 10, 2011	I bought one for lakers and whities, haven't used it yet. My eyelets are good. It has 5 eyelets. Cheers!

Fry Group: Newbies Posts: 49 Member No.: 2512 Joined: January 05, 2013	i have one of these st. croix rods. it is an awesome rod. the eyelets are 5 and straight. took a 4.5 lb pike like it was nothing. good deep water rod.

Parr Trout Group: Members Posts: 86 Member No.: 2458 Joined: January 03, 2013	My cousin had one that lasted a week. The tip broke off. I forget exactly how but i recall being shocked. It was anything real drastic that broke it. Maybe a fluke but it happened.
