Like I said before this is Canada we Honor our treaties, commitments and preserve the rights given to our aboriginal peoples, if you don't agree perhaps North Korea is a better fit for your racist views.
Canadadude Obviously by your responses you have no idea what Canada is all about . I think the best fit for you might be north korea. Good luck.

The quota is based on precautionary management protocol, an internationally accepted practice. Like I said before they are preparing for a court case. Sound Data.
As for concessions, I am not sure what they will decide. Thay have been doing this for the past 8 years voluntarily, as for the 2 fish limit biologists have said that it will not help the fishery. So the OMNR chose a consession that won't help, NFN may choose to do something or nothing. It is any ones guess.
In regards to finger pointing, we have been blamed for ever and will always be blamed, what is funny when we point the finger there is sound data backing our pointing.
All sides must stop taking out walleye to enhance the fishery, so we all know both commercial fisheries (NFN and huts)won't do that. I hope everyone will enjoy the perch fishery in couple years, I know the bait guys will lol. Take Care all.

Well said deluxe camp. I lived on the reserve for a year. ((( i had to get out ))) I'm not native. I saw a lot of things that i think people don't know and heard things from my dope head landlord too. I don't think that commercial native fisheries are managed at all. And why is spring fishing not just gill fishing but spearing allowed by natives. i saw boat loads of fish every night just passing by my place. This is a bigger problem i think than anyone can ever imagine.

Your experience certainly trumps mine, and I defer to your first hand knowledge....but I can't imagine any amount of spearing doing near as much damage as the gill nets
