Are you going out on your own or a vendor? I fished there wed and yesterday (sun 27) fishing was SLOW managed 13 keepers , my buddy 15 others not so good. fished 26 ft water. went out with Mitchels ( Brad is a great guy ). Usually this is a good area maybe a bit early this year good luck.

Fished Saturday Jan 26 with 2 friends out of one of Tim Hales huts. Around 25 FOW. Good service, equipment & huts. Fishing however was slow. It was one of those days when you really have to move and in a rental you stay put, but comfortable. Other huts did better but nothing great.

The walk would be a bit more then 1km. But the rewards can be worth it. Lots of jumbos to be had in Beaverton.

just a little side note.... if your driving a machine out there is a tree line marked all the way out but there are some cracks... one is fairly large roughly 2 feet wide today.. didnt have a problem on the quad but she may weaken a little with the rain thats supposed to come but them re freeze comin Thursday..

Thanks for the update about the cracks forming, I'll be taking an Argo out so we should be fine. Thanks again.
