Hello all. New to the board have been reading and enjoying all of your posts. This weekend will be my first opportunity to get out on lady simcoe for a fun day.
My question is where can i park and access the lake on the keswick side. Will be walking out with a smitty sled. Information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks iceeman.

Welcome aboard. As far as I know there aren't many parking opportunities in the Keswick area. I know everyone is looking for parking and easy access to fishing, but on Lake Simcoe the truth of the matter is, these spots are limited. Your best bet is to drive around the lake and see where everyone else is parking. Also parking on the roads is hit and miss and many locations have 3 hr limits and the parking police are very aggressive at enforcing this rule. Many people are now very hush hush about where the good parking spots are, and for good reason. When too many people start using an area for parking, they toss garbage, leave yellow snow outside people's front porch, hoot & holler, and rev their ATVs & snowmobiles at 4am while residents are trying to sleep --- well eventually residents complain and No Parking signs get posted. I know it's not everyone, but a few bad apples always ruin it for everyone else. So questions about access points probably won't get alot of attention in the open forum anymore. Sorry to answer like this, but it's the truth..

Yes, sorry, I didn't want you to feel lonely out there with your post and no replies.

When the ice is safe, alot of people park on the ice with no worries about residents and the parking police. But this year I can't recommend any on ice parking.
