Simcoe Fishing

Hey everyone,

I am going up to simcoe for the first time this weekend and all i want is to catch a couple of fish. I dont really care what kind, i dont eat the fish so i always catch and release. I just want to make sure i get some action.... Cna anyone tell me a basic spot to start, i will probably be walking so somewhat close to shore.

depending what you want to catch... anywhere in cooks bay you can walk out for perch or pike .. Virginia Beach/ Port Bolster / Beaverton can walk out for perch... if you want whitefish or trout you can walk out from Innisfil Beach/ or anywhere in Kempenfelt bay area to deep waters within a 5-10 min walk...

Thanks for the informartion Open Hole Jiggin' I will probably try Cooks Bay, hopefully catch a pike!
