If there's one thing I enjoy about working a nightshift, it has to be my ability to fish on pretty much any given day. It has turned me into a kind of "fair weather" fisherman, but that has its perks too. The past 3 days, everything looked right to get into some lakers. Warmer temps, higher pressure and late season are a great recipe for a good day on the water. I couldnt ask for more. Over the 3 days of fishing, I spent time with a bunch of good people, some of whom I hadn't seen for years. Even better than good company, is good fishing and we certainly enjoyed that. I put over 40 lakers on the ice over the 3 day period including one big bruiser. We fished anywhere from 61 - 85 ft of water and never had to travel any deeper. X-Zone swammers and lipless crankbaits were the choice baits as the lakers were all wailing on schools of herring and smelt. I'm -4 lipless crankbaits on the week as I had a few good fish take them on me, one around 15lbs right at the hole too. Anyways, on to the fish porn...

Nice lakers Steve, I also got a bad burn on my face last Tues but don't have pics of monster lakers to go with it. What's with the no shirt deal, trying to join the bikini ice fishing team?
