Got out both days this weekend for Lakers...Unfortunately, Saturday was brutal, with just one fish coming onto the ice for me.

I was discouraged about going back Sunday, but I can't skip a day just because of slow fishing, so I went back with redemption in mind, I wanted to close out the season strong.

A new spot, new hope, and it paid off.

Had a lot of fun yesterday, getting some into some real solid fish, a great way to cap off the season and hopefully it overshadows the numerous slow days from memory! haha

Nice

I see you like using the baitcaster too. Try getting an ice rod with the spiral wrapped guides makes it alot easier when fighting fish I find.

Hoping to sneak out one last time friday afternoon after work before the season closes...

Oh well though, soon will be shorts and T-shirts trolling weather.
