Just got back from perching, that was a total bust, nothing but dinks from 30-90 feet. While loading up, another fellow mentioned that someone had ended up in the water with his ATV just out from the beach area, left from the boat launch. No one hurt and the ATV was dragged out. Pay attention and don't get a soaker.

Probably where the creek runs into the lake (bridge near boat launch) , about 50 to 100 feet out, the run-off water erodes the ice underneath and on top.. Basically stay away from the point there, to about 100 feet north of the point. Last mild spell I could see open water there, then it refroze. Ice weak there this year.
