the lake is packed tight and is great for both 4x4's and sleds.

No slush to speak of at the moment and as long as you stay away from the river mouths, you should be fine.

Get a depth map from the ministry when you come through Minden and choose your spots. I like near Beech river myself.

Remember that Walleye closed on the 15th.

enjoy

My access is the parking lot/ boat launch located at the bottom end of the big lake. It takes some time to get back up to the top end but it gives alot of different options on locations to fish along the way

you could also get in touch with someone at The Clansman Inn or Buttermilk Falls Resort to see if they would allow access through the properties to be a little closer to the top end but no promises

Thanks alot for the info! When you use that ramp do you have to go under the bridge Is there safe ice there? Or do you just get onto the ice from the other side of 118? Thanks again for the info again! Hoping to get into a few lake trout!
