Smolt Trout Group: Members Posts: 197 Member No.: 446 Joined: February 27, 2011	I am heading into back lake for pike this Friday. Just wondering what your preferences are for bait live or dead. Thanks Mike

Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 435 Member No.: 2142 Joined: October 10, 2012	If you can take both, take big river minnows or big shiners for live bait and for dead bait go to your local grocery store and buy some sardines or smelt. Rig them on tip ups and sit and wait.
