I am heading into back lake for pike this Friday. Just wondering what your preferences are for bait live or dead. Thanks Mike

ya that would work. Pike are fun to catch. Have fun I use spinners in the summer for pike. Large minnows seem to work in the winter.

hows the ice holding up (thickness wise) also thought i would mention that all tho we never caught anything in the slot this year or any pike we still caught more this year then any other of the nine years we have been fishing the nip with all the small ones we thru back think next year should be just as good until the hard water returns everyone have a good summer

Dead 6-8 inch sucker right on bottom on a tip up. Outperforms a live one in my opinion. You can't go wrong
