I have stayed next door at wosleys
I have had zero luck with waleyes in that area
We did some casting in that bay and hooked up a 47 inch 27 pound musky using a double cowgirl

The best thing you could do is hire a guide for a couple hours
Save all the spots he takes you as waypoints on your gps and you have them forlife
We used a guy named Marcel years back he gave us some awsome spots
Maybe ask around up there if hes still around
He used to go to Wolsey for coffee very fair prices

I plan on doing that for muskie & some guys for Walleye to learn the water..

Hey Ozzy, if you are looking for a muskie guide you might want to give Shawn a call at Idle Tyme. He operates a business called Fish of a Lifetime. Info below, they also have a web site.

Ozzy,

Thats an awsome musky. Care to share any details? What location and were you trolling or casting? I just started my new collection of musky lures. I got 2 8" believers, a pearson's grinder, 6 & 8" jakes, and 3 assorted bulldawgs. Went to south bay june 4,5,6 and caught some pike and eyes. I got 3 muskies in my life but none like that one

My trip in south bay was my 1st experience trolling with large lures like 8" believers. My friends said I would never catch anything with these lures.I really think I need bigger lures. good luck up there.
