World Record Trout Group: Moderators Posts: 7427 Member No.: 148 Joined: February 11, 2011	Hi all, My young daughter is heading to Port Dover next weekend and wants to do some shore fishing. Does anyone have any info on fish species can be caught there and and methods. She just wants to catch a couple fish and have fun. I am not sure if she should bottom fish with worms or use a float. Any help would be great.

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1963 Member No.: 952 Joined: December 10, 2011	It may still be a little early but perch fishing from shore can be good there. Minnows are the ticket! either drop shot, or pickerel rig. Cheers!
