Can anyone tell me if you can launch a small aluminum boat at the road on the south end of Barton Lake? (or should I bring the canoe?)

Thanks,

Been meaning to fish that lake myself, just haven't found the time. I checked it out a few years back and it looked pretty doable with a small aluminum. There is a bit of a slope down from the highway but nothing major. Let me know how it goes.

I can usually push my little boat in off the trailer if I can get the wheels of the trailer to the edge of the water.

I've been meaning to try this lake and Sand Lake if I could make it there.

Thanks,

c2s

We have put a 14 ft boat in there a few times it is a bit steep but is doable there are pike and largemouth bass in there and some walleye. I dont know if the crappie have made it in there yet. Good luck
