I pm'd you, but honestly, those are not my waters so all was a guess.

But, tactics are generally the same, so if you find the bait you should locate some fish.

Surface temps are lake uniform within 4-5 degrees, unusuall.

I would not hesitate if a calm day to head into deep water 200 plus/where the water colum is more stable than inside as we have been pounded by winds ......feels like weeks

There were some rainbows and smaller kings around earlier in the week. No big numbers but a few fish anyway. Everything in top 50

Sorry kc3311 not trying to jack the thread.

Hi All,

I will down next weekend fishing from Bronte with very limited experience of where on the water to go and best tactics (planers, dipsey's copper and downriggers with lures, flies , spin dr or flashers).
In hopes of catching fish even Lake trout
My friend has the boat and between us we have the gear (more or less YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TO MUCH) not the way the wife sees it
but what she doesn't know won't hurt her
Was hoping I could PM a person / people for info as we get closer to the weekend to make a plan.
Hopefully everything comes together and we make out like 's

if not; a bad day of fishing is better than a day of work

Thanks in advance
