Well last night Lund Man asked if anyone wanted to join him fishing out of Port Credit today so I happily accepted as I live 5 mins away. Chris wanted to get out around 7 am so I met him at the launch and was totally impressed with probably the nicest looking 21' Black Lund ProV with a 250 Optimax to push it along. Chris and I met for the first time, shook hands and he said let's go! I felt bad because I am not comfortable in backing up to the ramp as it has been years. I got Chris to line it up and only had to back down a bit while he got he boat off the trailer. Parked the truck and we were off. Water was flat calm and we headed out to about 90' were I watched Chris drop two balls and two dipsys. It was probably only 1/2 hr and a rod went off and Chris hands it to me. On the other end was a nice clean natural 8-10 lb rainbow. Looked like a great start but little did we know it would be the big fish of the day. We got another 2-3 lb chinook and several shakers the rest of the day. I must say a huge thanks to Chris, he was a fantastic host and just a great all round guy. Which made for a fantastic day on the water. We had some great conversation and some laughs as we trolled around seeking the big guys but there were none to be had. The strangest thing today was we would find these large balls of bait but only once all day did we see a hook around the bait. The few fish we did see today were spread all over the water column as we fished between 80' and 130' Below are a few pics from today. Thanks again Chris Here us the Captain at the helm.
