Hi Fellow members,

Just want to double check is the walleye open all year in this zone and no slot limit? Any sanctuary area I have to pay attention?

Thanks in advance!

Do you mean Lake Erie? That's zone 19. Walleye open all year, no slot size.
Always check for exceptions for the area you will be fishing. Check the regs!
Cheers!

I had to double check, but ya, FF is correct , Erie is zone 19 not 16

The northern feeder streams are in 16 but no the main lake.

I was about to look for my pics from last year and erose them...... casue it's hard to get one under 18 inches

FF and Shank are correct. If indeed the question was about the Lake then it is Zone 19. I answered the question literally, my bad.

I just heard from a friend the trolling bite is heating up! If I don't go for bass Saturday, I might be going for eyes!
Cheers!

Thanks for replies,

What rig should I use since the area I am fishing is a little strange.
In front of me is little current but further out is very fast current .
What rig should I use?

I am not qualified to answer your question, hopefully others are and will respond. I'm guessing you're talking about the Niagra River above the Falls. If that is the case, your boat needs to be properly equiped for those waters. To say it is dangerous out there would be an understatement. Again, others more familiar with the area are best placed to advise you about that. Good luck, tight lines and take care.

Actually I don't have budget to buy a bat.
I was talking shore fishing only
Any suggestion ?

crankbaits, both minnow and crawdad imitations will work as well as worm harnesses

still not detain where you paln to fish.sounds like upper Niagara.

Fish the current breaks but be carefull.
