Do you mean Lake Erie? That's zone 19. Walleye open all year, no slot size. Always check for exceptions for the area you will be fishing. Check the regs! Cheers!

What rig should I use since the area I am fishing is a little strange. In front of me is little current but further out is very fast current . What rig should I use?

I am not qualified to answer your question, hopefully others are and will respond. I'm guessing you're talking about the Niagra River above the Falls. If that is the case, your boat needs to be properly equiped for those waters. To say it is dangerous out there would be an understatement. Again, others more familiar with the area are best placed to advise you about that. Good luck, tight lines and take care.
