Went down to Bronte on Friday night and launched, marked bait and fish but no takers. Tried Saturday morning from Bronte straight out to the 100-140 range fished S turns and figure 8's towards the cement plant (at least I think that's what it is; tall stacks to the east) going deep and shallow picked up a couple nice Coho around 5 lbs that's about it - took a break and headed out for the afternoon nothing till 45 minutes before dark, landed 5 nothing for size, Then grab a sleep and headed out around 7 am (the water was like glass so much for the weather report Glad we stayed) within 20 minutes we had the 1st fish in the boat a solid football of an Atlantic but 1 inch to small to keep as my buddy was saying he would like a picture; I was torpedoing it back. Sorry health of the fish 1st. (He was probably thinking if he does that again I'm swimming back to shore) We landed another 4 fish, 1 being a nice 8lb Bow and lost 6 others packed it in around 11:15, There was a point in time when the rain was coming down pretty hard but we toughed it out and the fishing got better as it cleared up. All in all not stellar but better fishing than at work.
Most fish caught down 90 over 100-110 fow using green glow spoons on sliders and SD with flies second.

Want to say thanks to those people who offer information on fishing the area and fishing with Longshank last year (I learned a ton from you Werner).

Gord

Great to hear you got into some fish. Those stacks to the east are the cement plant.Things can only get better out there.
I spent the weekend at the cottage feeding very large expensive sucker minnows to very small angry pike..........you did much better than me.
I am sure i will see you out there.......Great report.
