Finally the weather co-operated with my time off. Went out of Port Bruce. Fished in 36ft of water. Perching was good. Two at a time a few times. After 41 keepers I decided to try some trolling. Trolled out to 49ft and back. Dipsey tripped a couple of times, but nothing. Pulled my line to end the day and had a jumbo perch on. Not sure how long he was on. When I got home I found I had miscounted by 3. Had 44 perch. Read some other reports and I was trolling too deep. Eyes were being caught in 45ft of water or less and were down 15 to 25ft. It was a great day on the water.

Sounds like you had a good day.
Thanks for the report.
Are you going back tomorrow for the perch derby?
I'll be there bright & early.

Best Wishes: Rick

Sunday is a busy day for me. I very seldom get out fishing on a Sunday. Showing a risk of thunderstorms. I hope they're wrong. Hope they have a good turn out.

Wishing you luck, Gary
