So he show's pics of a slot size fish he released and you still try and bust his balls for too many fish? Not cool.............. Awesome Gar Pike many people only dream about catching one
Don't understand why people reply on posts always assuming the worst. I think most people who would join a forum such as this would have to be an avid fisherperson and would be well aware of the rules and limits of fishing and should not have to explain themselves to others.
People need to back off with the false accusations and just enjoy the read, enjoy the fish porn and throw out a compliment here and there when deserved.
Think about it, would you post pictures of yourself on the internet breaking the law for all to see?

Not aimed at you personally fishharder, there has been a few recent posts where guys are questioning others regarding their posts. Glad you understand and as you said.....it's just a forum for fun. Plus there is some good advice given and I see friendships formed due to this forum and all this is good.
For me personally I don't get out as often as I would like but when I do it is usually for a solid week of fishing so it is nice to follow along with others to see that we still have a very healthy fish population across Ontario and who is catching what, where they are catching and what they are using to catch.
People need to realize that this board has a great wealth of knowledge behind it, get out of what you can, participate and enjoy it and leave the accusations out.

Sweet report !
Gar pike are awesome fighting fish . My Gf hooked into a few ice fishing last year . Tons of them in Weller's Bay to fish for them in the summer and winter months . Don't know the regs on them but they defiantly put up a great fight . We also had about 9 of them cruising 2 feet below our hole out on the hard water season . Nice specie and some big ones swimming around in Weller's .
Forgot to mention , Nice haul on the eyes .....Good Eat's

No worries fishharder. Thanks everybody for the congrats. Really wanted to share the gar pike pics with people who would appreciate them! I have to say it was the most fun fish I've ever seen caught and most fun I've ever had on a fish trip and I was just the net man on that one! Good luck and be safe everybody.
