Old Lady Nipissing takes yet another victim. So sad. My heart goes out to friends and family of Daniel Mantha, 52 yrs of age from North Bay. My sincere condolences to all of you.

A 52-year-old North Bay man has died after the fishing boat he was in started to sink and he was forced to swim to shore.
North Bay Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched Sunday around 12:45 p.m. to a capsized aluminum fishing boat by the Manitou Islands on Lake Nipissing.
The North Bay OPP Marine Unit attended the area and located a female in distress on Little Manitou Island.
The female advised police she was in a fishing boat with a male when the boat started to sink. They both started to swim to shore and she made it to the island.
Police said an extensive search was initiated for the man by the North Bay OPP, North East Region SAVE Team, OPP helicopter unit and friends and family of the victim.
Daniel Mantha, 52, of Morin Street was located this morning around 9:30 a.m. near the Great Manitou Island
