Well, didn't get the rods in until 1030 hrs.Headed out to the Blue Zone but mistakingly became enamored with the 225 ft of water zone, marking fish but getting nada. After an hour , headed out to 300 ft of water. After 10 minutes with a 4 rod spread noticed one rod doing a little tappity tap tap so pulled it up with a 1 lb shaker chinook on it.
No skunk anyway, 310 ft of water.No pic, threw him in the cooler though.
Had my buddy from work with me for his one annual trip so I tried to get him some fish and finally we got this 7 pound rainbow on the black /silver Michigan stinger 30 feet down in 360 ft of water.
Time was not on our side so we headed in at 2 , 2 for 4 as two knockoffs as well.
Beautiful day out there, hope to get out once more. Here's a picture of my buddy with the Rainbow.
