Hi guys,
My mother and step-father are coming up from NF on Thursday and want to take my step-father out on Lake O Friday. He's like 77yrs old and would like to stay closer to shore if ya know what I mean. Anyway, whats a good depth to be working this time of year and presentations? 140ish seemed to work for me over the summer months but I'm think the big old Kings should be a good fight this time of year in close? Some Bows or Coho would be good too.

Sorry for the delay in posting. Well, all I can say it's a good thing my 77yr old step-father changed his mind and never came out. My son and I decided to go out Saturday around 11ish for a few hrs. How can you stand on shore during an east blow, sunny skies and it looked so calm out there? Well, it was far from calm and I can tell you and I have been told (right Chris) not to even bother when its an east wind. Well, what a rough day! Big rollers and crashing waves etc. Never again thats for sure in that wind. Took water over the bow (of a bowrider) quite a few times. It was a great day for the stick boats but not for us types....I was one of very, very few fishing type boats out there and now I know why. I took a couple of vids but I don't think I can post here.
Anyway, a few strikes and a couple knockoff's but thats it. Like my buddy said, you wern't trolling you were rip jigging judging by the way that boat was going up and down....lol. I can tell ya, in the bottom of one trough the water on each side was level if not higher than my boat!!!!
Okay....before I get it....lesson learned!. My urge to fish outweighed what I knew was a bad weather day and never again. Man, it looked so nice from shore though...
Anyway....on our way back....ever so slowly...in 57ft of water betwwen Port Credit and Lakefront I never marked so many fish....wow....my screen was full. If anybody knows a way to post the vids lemme know....maybe start a youtube account maybe.
Anyway...was hoping for one more time but it dont look that good ahead so maybe time to park it and get ready for ice fishing.

YouTube is your best bet for posting vids. Once you have them up on YouTube, use the YOUTUBE button when preparing your post. That said, YouTube does get iffy for us at times. If that doesn't work just post the YouTube URL using the http:// button or directly in your post.

Hahaha.........Rob that post gave me a real good chuckle. Sorry about your day though. East is least brother......never forget that in the western basin. Friday is maybe my last shot at it according to Windgurru today. If you want to go out give me a shout. Again........Thanks for my afternoon chuckle.
