Night fishing on erie? Anybody tried it?

Good evening everyone. Someone told me before to try for walleye on lake erie at night near pt maitland(or anywhere on the lake). Apparently you dont have to go to far out. Has anybody tried this before with any success? Thanks

Hey walleyedan,
I've tried at night with a Rapala countdown off the rocks at Port Maitland. Sometimes, at certain times of the year it's good. Saying that, I'm a chicken when it comes to going out in the boat at night. I do know a few guys who do with some success.
If you do go use caution. And good luck.

Thanks for the welocme to the board and thanks for the info FSHN FRK. I hope to try it this fall and i will post how i do when i make it out.
