I know this is the Nipissing Board, but I wanted to share a few pics of fish from Nipissing's "sister lake"... (and I think Michelle's turf)....Lake Nosbonsing.

I was out yesterday and hit on a few nice fish.

1. Smallmouth Bass - Jig and worm in 12ft of water
2. Pike - large 6" musky bait trolling 3mph
3. Walleye - small white grub trolled above weeds

It's so nice to see how this lake has quality fish like these. I hear that the Walleye can be a bit picky on this lake, but I managed to land a beauty. Once again, I threw her back to live and spawn another day to do my part to support Lake Nosbonsing's fishery. Funny how I had to change up my technique on this lake as I am used to a worm and jig bouncing of a sand bottom. Not this lake. I had to sport a small white plastic grub and hang it just above the weeds trolling.

I have a feeling this lake may become more popular in the future. Anyone who takes the time to visit this lake will not be disappointed.

Cheers, all!

There's also Musky in Nosbonsing although the hammehandle pike seem to be the most prevalent .
