swannie,,, Yes ,,I live 5 min from lake check it every day to see how the ice is coming along, im exited as well for the season to start, getting a portable this year should be a Blast,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Pickerelhunter, This will be my first time on Nip... My buddy has been going for 4 years now and staysin one of those ice bungalos...the operator is South Shores Ice condos...

Yea looking forward to it... The guys I'm meeting up there arent really fishermen, but they do well!! I guess there is something to be said about having a line in the water 24/7. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in a while.. lol.
