Hello everyone. Just purchased my very first turkey shot gun. Was wondering what's the best method or lube to use on choke threads.

i use gun grease for the tube chokes. oil will work but make sure it can handle to heat produced by the shot. like mentioned any gun shop will have either.

This is the one I use.
Many long time great hunters I know all recommend this when I got started with my first gun. I have use this since then I have had no rust and never had a choke get stuck.

I use the same grease as on mu
Y muzzle loader breech plug. It's called pro gold. Have had an issue with a stick choke. But have seen a few that were very stuck

I have that as well.
Also I Saw on line people were using the Permatex silver or copper anti seize from Canadian tire. What's your thoughts boys.

This may be one of those things that we overthink. Regular attention is probably the most important element.

I use the same product , it works great and the smell is the smell of hunting season. Sometimes in off season Iíll wipe down guns just to have the smell in the house.
