Been out 4 times now, 2 morning 2 evening with no sightings. Few tracks around, just a matter of time I guess. Tried female howl/bark, jackrabbit distress and pup distress but no luck.

Thanks for the reply. I bought a new 22-250 last year and never made it out. I was able to get permission to call at a couple farms so I have my fingers crossed that I can make time

X2 I bought a 22-250 a year ago september thinking I would have time to hunt yotes while I was slow at work in the winter but haven't had to even zero it in yet!

I am really impressed with mine. I bought a savage as it seemed to be the best built in my price range. I put on a luepold scope 4-12 I believe. The only thing I don't like is it is obnoxiously loud. I own a 7 mag and 270 that aren't as loud. But it keeps a 1.5" group at 150 yards which is plenty good

I also have a Savage 22-250 with Nikon BDC scope which I love shooting. It's zeroed in at 200 yards. Just as flat as you need for those yotes. TAW is right. It is very loud. I wish they sold suppressors for the thing. I'm itching to get out there with them yotes. F-------- crazy wind lately. I was using a FOXPRO WILDFIRE with rabbit in distress and called in a young buck. lol go figure. I have had some success with it but cant seem to figure which sounds is better.
