Funny thing happened last night. I was using my Foxpro predator call, and I had the rabbit in distress blaring full blast for a minute or so. I was hoping to see some yotes but out of nowhere comes a young spike buck to check out the noise. He was right next to my call. Still having a bow tag, and being that it's last call for deer season, I raised my bow. He seen me and bolted out of sight. It's not the first time i see deer coming to the call like this. One time last year I had 3 deer come running in to check it out. I did see a coyote at last light but he wasn't interested at all. Has anyone else ever seen this response from deer with a predator call?

That's weird. You would think the deer would scatter off. I myself have a hard enough time calling the deer in with a doe bleat or a buck's grunt. Sorry you missed the opportunity to get that deer.
