Hey everyone! I got this urge to go shooting this morning but dont really wanna make the 1.5 hour trip up north, rice lake is a lot closer and I was wondering what the legalities were in shooting clay over the ice? bio degradable clay and non toxic of course, but other than that anything else? thanks

Depends on shot. Lead can be seen as a deleterious substance (illegal to deposit into a water body under I think the EPA or the lake and rivers improvement act). Bio clays aren't the problem. It's really just the shot. Call your local CO.

Most target loads contain lead and should not be used over water.
