I am a totally new hunter. Did my courses and have my licenses, I have a couple shotguns I want to pattern before I go out hunting the first time. Anyone have any land they shoot on within about an hour of bradford? Willing to pay, do work, whatever. If you wanna teach me more about hunting that's cool too. I am mostly interested in upland birds, small game, and Possibly Turkey. Thanks!

Hey Larry, Weren't you gonna hookup with TD to be your mentor on his invite last fall? He's the man for sure,to help you out! No matter we will hook up if you like before I move to BC in May and I will take you to the sand pit one last time and we can let some lead fly! L.O.L!

An hours drive will put you at the Orillia Gun Club. Get a friend and think about joining. Cost is $225 per year....but you can shoot rifles 7 days a week and various shotgun sports on Wednesdays and Sundays. Shooting various shotgun sports ( skeet, trap, 5 stand, sporting clays) can be as much fun as hunting....and you actually use the guns you own. There is a membership protocol that you have to go through....but worth it. Just a thought....

Good advice ajs, I'm going tommorow to join a gun club that's 40 minutes from my new home that I just bought in Osoyoos,B.C. It's $90.00 a year and they use the mountains for a backstop! Lot's of Dessert, you'd think your'e in Nevada. L.O.L!
