Hardest part is finding an area to hunt that has an open season. As municipalities are getting more liberal and allowing sunday hunting its drastically reduce the places that have an open season. As far as strategy not much different than the fall hunt but if you need help no better source than inviting an experienced hand to show you the ropes nudge nudge wink wink.

Scouting is the most important thing. No point in hunting an area if no birds are using it. On warmer days concentrate on grassy type areas with water.(creeks,pastures. Etc). On the colder day's they may be back in cornfields. This season is different than the fall season. We are dealing with a reverse migration now due to the recent warm weather. Many birds are also paired off seeking out breeding territory.
