Spring goose hunt

Just wondering if anyone could confirm that you're allowed to hunt geese this spring season at the lake scugog crown land? I called mnr and they said to contact port perry bylaw which I did and they confirmed that you're not allowed to Sunday gun hunt which would mean that you could spring hunt there. Anyone have any info to go along with that? Obviously the lake is frozen but could prolly make something work weather I go in one of the fields or whatever else I could ponder up

I can't see why not as long as it's not on Sunday, its a legal hunt

Is my license from 2016 still good for this hunt?

you would need a valid small games tag but if your referring to the migratory bird stamp it's valid until march 10 2017

We better be able to hunt geese Saturday! I didn't spend 1.5hrs doing this for nothing!

This week goose hunting is only allowed where Sunday gun hunting is not permitted.

If your area was allowed to hunt on Sundays during the regular season you can't hunt this week.

wow thats hidden. I like to think its not that critical on opening day but have some of the areas can be busy. one year they got worked 4 times before they got to us. was pike eye city
