Im trying to figure out where you got the word "PRO" from not once did anyone say they were a "PRO". Clearly you are just being a troll (look at all your other posts too) The orginal poster had a question you gave your opinion and so did everyone else. I guess it ruffed some of your feathers when someone put their two cents in.
Duckfever- like turtle said go look for turkey crap in the area you want to hunt. If they are in there you will find their crap.

Depending on the area turkey's could be roosting near a ridge or any tall stand of tree; they will need a small area to fly down - so you shouldn't find them in the thick stuff. If you can try getting out early in the morning (in the dark before twilight) a week or 2 before opener (a day here a day there) just to listen for any gobbling.
At least you'll know if their in the area.
1 last point:
Not sure if you have yet or not but pattern your gun to see how that choke and shot works at different distances.

Yeah I did pattern the 870 with the Nitro turkey ammo and I was pleased with it to about 40 yards. From the layout of that piece of property I don't think i'll be shooting anything further than 20-30 yards max.

There is an oak ridge where I live and the females seem to spend lots of time rooting around the ridge, I spoke to my hunting buddies and a couple agree that they like oaks.
