Heads Up Moose hunt dates

Just checked the dates of my moose hunt this year 21st to 27th of oct
it has always been Monday to Saturday this year its Sat to Friday

i am in area 50 and mine is now saturday oct 21-friday oct 27 it is starting on a saturday and finishing on a friday. it used to be monday to friday now two days longer
i do not understand the mnr

More days for those who just do weekends, guess we have to book one more day off to get into camp, that week the last of my vacation days, but I do feel a cough coming on?

Thanks for the heads up. I saw the dates and thought it was peculiar that we get to hunt the weekend this year.

I too hunt zone 50 and I had not checked yet thx for making me look into it

Something doesn't quite add up for me. The MNRF wants less moose to be harvested to protect the population but they change the season to include a full weekend. That will only mean more weekend warriors in the bush and more moose shot. Seems to me they only want more tags to be purchased to make more MONEY.
