Starting Coyote Hunting, Any Advice ?

I received permission from a land owner to hunt coyotes on a 40 acre piece of land. It is neighbored by a conservation area and a farm.
I am limited to using a compound bow only. I have set up a tree stand in what i think is a good location. I purchased an electronic caller and have a motion decoy.
I have a portable blind i can use as well. Does anyone have any advice when it comes to bow hunting these animals ?

Don't move. They are a pain to call in sometimes. They are very skiddish as well. The wind plays a huge factor as well so be thoughtful on that. They are a small target. As the old man once said "There is a lot of space around them so don't be mad if you miss the odd time".

Never hunted coyotes but I have always wanted to. Thus I don't have any advice. But, Good hunting my friend. Sounds like you are all set up for success.

I have had some yotes come check out a turkey decoy before. I got 2 with my crossbow so far. I'll take the shot every time I see them.

Go to a butcher shop that does deer & get a hide from them. Buy a roll of re-bar tie wire (about 5 bucks) & use the entire roll to wire the hide hair out to a tree up wind from your stand. Wrap the wire about every 2 in. so the yote can only tear out small chunks. Wrap the wire around a piece of wood to use again. If you can get a road kill deer it works even better but you have to use more wire so it does not get dragged away. Only hunt when the wind is in your favor. Don't shoot at any pets in low light conditions. Good luck.
