Hello all,

I am looking at getting the excalibur matrix grizzly crossbow and just wanted to see if anyone has experience with this crossbow?

I am new to hunting and have very little experience with crossbows. Any help or advice will be helpful.

Thanks.

I should mention, I am going for deer, turkey, coyotes and rabbits.

What do ya need to know? Great bow, does 305 fps, good for any game around here, may be slightly under powered for moose. Retails for $499-$599 depending on where ya go.

Hope this helps

Hey DOS, I am the guy who called today..... I am 99% sure this is what I am going to buy.

Just wanted to hear some feed back from those who have used it.

See you tonight or tomorrow! Thanks.

Can't comment specifically about the matrix Grizzly, but I have at least 4 friends plus myself using Excalibur bows and everyone is happy. I think the company has changed hands recently but they always stood bathing their product in the past. Mine is an older axiom, it's 305 fps as well. No issues and gets the gob done.

Thanks for your input on the excalibur crossbows. I am an old bow hunter who is thinking about purchasing a crossbow to simplify things. The bow and arrow is getting a little too much for me now as I approach my golden years. I have been looking at the Excalibur bows. I think I will purchase an excalibur for this years bow season. Thanks again for your comments and recommendations for a crossbow.

Thanks for the information, I went last night to dufferin outdoors in orangeville and picked up the grizzly crossbow. Very happy with my purchase and thanks to dufferin outdoors for taking the time to set me up and have me hitting bullseyes!
