Grouse Hunting Sudbury !

Who's heading out in the Sudbury area this weekend for birds my plan is to go fishing for brook trout and carry the shotgun on the way in and get a few birds at the same time a little surf and turf !!!

I'm heading up there Friday after work with my son. Fishing during the day and bear hunting from late afternoon till sunset.

I am up a bit further on Saturday and all next week but hoping to get onto some birds and specs!

Getting out for a hunt next week in the Kearney area though.

Same thing as you though Sparky, hike in for some back-lake brookies with the 12ga in hand in case we stumble across some grouse.

This will be my first hunt since I got my license last year!
To say I'm excited is an understatement.

I thunk using a dog in a field is better then using them in the bush but thats only what i think you may be right as i have never tried using a dog for hunting.It is very hot weather up here for hunting .right now looks like it will be another week before the cool down.
