Lost our canoe due to the wind today. Wind carried it east from the northern point of island road when we lost sight of it. Camo in color with some gear inside. Please let me know if anything turns up.
Thanks all

It was actually a buddy of mine that lost it when he was out. From what I understand it was during decoy set up. Wind swept it quick and far

Might want to let local authorities know about your missing canoe. Someone might think a floating canoe is a result of a mishap and get a search and rescue going for nothing. I would have never thought about this until a buddy told me he called the opp to report his canoe tipped and went downstream after he had a very scary river accident while hunting.
Might also help you get it back, hope it shows up!

it was reported to DRP and OPP to avoid that situation exactly. Hoping someone will see the canoe and see it as an odd situation due to the equipment inside and report it to police.

A very nice resident of the lake reported in the canoe and it was returned back to the owner.
