Great buck!

Haven't been able to get out as much as I would like. Missed the early bow hunt but did get this guy to come into 10 yards with a grunt call after spooking a doe on the walk in.
Dads been out a lot seeing lots of does and fawns. Been getting a lot of pics of bucks on the cam with a couple of real dandys.

What a dandy! Nice double tine there as well. Looks like a bruiser. Hopefully he got his breeding in!

weird season, have not seen a deer, but 13 moose and counting in our area, I think the moose scare them out of the area or what? good for next year, the ones we take, get even more there...

morning everyone. i have been hunting moose goin on 25t years and thinking about going for whitetail. my preference area to hunt would be area 89. i looked in the regs and only thing i could see is controlled hunt for 5 or 6 days. am i blind in one eye and can't see out the other cause i could not find anything else. any input would be extremely appreciated. already talked to a couple of friends that are farmers and said to shoot the damn things and get rid of them. so there is no shortage of hunting area for me to down a big buck. they own collectively 200 plus acres
thanks again pic24

There's the 3 month long bow only season (it closes during the controlled shotgun season)
And there's 1 week of controlled shotgun hunt in november and another week in december.
You have to apply to a draw to get into one of the controlled hunts.
