Type of duck is this?

Seen this guy out at the park today what is he?

Very different markings; I looked in my Peterson Field Guide and could not find anything even remotely close; however, judging by the black mark on its bill, I'd say it's a Mallard cross. Or an immature Mallard, hybrid.

Here's another shot. He's much bigger than all the mallards that were around. I was thinking some sort of hybrid too thanks guys/gals

I think it is some sort of domesticated duck. I've seen them for sale on kijiji.

X2 I have seen these ducks in parks. Some people buy them, then when they get too big just dump them in local ponds with the other ducks. Unfortunately they have a hard time surviving the winter. If these are actually wild ducks please correct me..

I'd guess a cross with a farm duck. Or "ducks of dubious ancestry" as I've heard them referred to.

The "Muskovy" ducks we raised on the farm looked very similar, they came in many variations of color , when mature dressed out about 5-7 lbs, very lean ..Delicious ..

Hey, Also the Muskovies fly very well and that pink ring starting at the base of the bill is a giveaway..
