shot a yote this morning dam things just to many of them around,one less to deal with, one more fawn will live longer pics too big to upload working on that!

Last nite had one come in towards our ankle biters. Got my gun out just in time to see it disappear. for safety let my bear banger off and now have rifle closer.

I swithched to flicker since photobucket went pay to play. Try it as it allows for posting better quality pictures.

Most likely anything under .275.. I use my .270 , a bit much for yotes but it keeps me in shape for bigger stuff..Just don't count on the hide being any good..

Caliber restriction depends on what township you are hunting in. According to ministry (after many phone calls with them) Simcoe country has no restrictions. Find it hard to believe but that came straight from a C.O. In Essa you can only use shotgun or muzzle loader (like the controlled hunt) and that is straight from the bylaw officer.
Lots of info online as to what caliber is best for long range. .204, 22-250, .243 would be a couple to check out.
