With the spring bear season approaching surely some are considering doing a rug from their trophy , what if you already have a nice rug on the wall or floor..or the bear is in poor coat..
From my taxi days the alternative is to get the skull treated to have as a keep sake , you can get it treated and bleached as the one in the pix or there are those that paint some beautiful scenes or indian drawings on the face of the skull..
Hey; If your'e curious , refer to the score sheet section at top of header and score your own bear following the described procedure ..
That skull scored 19 1/2 " , the largest bear I have scored over the years ..

Also, if you don't like the bleach alternative and want to go for something a little more interesting, soak it in Tea. Gives you the aged look and would look great on that tree cut.

Tea, that sounds pretty neat! I have a bear skull at home right now that is ready for some sort of treatment. I think I might look into the tea technique. Thanks
